Award-winning cookbook author Kitty Morse (www.kittymorse.com) was born in Casablanca, Morocco, and emigrated to the United States at the age of 17. While studying for her master’s degree, Kitty catered Moroccan diffas, or banquets, and went on to teach the intricacies of Moroccan cuisine nationwide. She is the author of nine cookbooks and two memoirs, including Cooking at the Kasbah: Recipes from my Moroccan Kitchen, Mint Tea and Minarets: A Banquet of Moroccan Memories and its French translation, and Bitter Sweet: A Wartime Journal and Heirloom Recipes from Occupied France. Her passion for food and travel has taken her to many countries and inspires The Kasbah Chronicles, her blog on Substack.
